Four upright slots, cut into a block of solid wood, for the remotes that migrate across a living room all evening. Each one stands on its own, so you can reach for the right one without lifting the other three out first.
The farmhouse shape, plain wood with square edges and no visible hardware, sits as comfortably on a nightstand or a bathroom shelf as it does beside the television. The same four compartments take pens and a notepad on a desk, sunglasses by the door, or lipsticks and brushes on a dressing table.
It has a small footprint and keeps a cable or a streaming stick standing upright rather than coiled loose behind the screen. Dust it with a dry cloth and keep it away from standing water.
